Howdy! I am a graphic & type designer from Waco, Texas living, working, and enjoying life in New York City. In September, 2014 I became a type designer for Hoefler & Co. Years before designing typefaces for a living, I studied at a couple of world-class institutions: I am a proud alumni of Abilene Christian University’s outstanding graphic design department, and in the fall of 2013 I began the one year Master of Arts in Typeface Design program at Reading University in England to further my knowledge in typography, type design, and graphic communication. For my thesis project at Reading I created a warm, friendly text-face entitled Odelay. In-between studying and working in NYC I designed many graphic & type design projects for some wonderful people. This sites’ main purpose is to show these designs (whether in-progress or finished) and to act as a platform to record ideas, thoughts, or ramblings on varied topics. If you like any of the work, need some freelance, or just want to say hey, please get in touch. I tweet, take pictures, shoot some hooops, and frequently check my email. Cheers!
