Howdy! I am a graphic & type designer from Waco, Texas living, working, and enjoying life in New York City. In September, 2014 I became a type designer for Hoefler & Co. here in lower Manhattan and am enjoying it throughly. Years before designing typefaces for a living, I studied at a couple of world-class institutions. I am a proud alumni of Abilene Christian University’s awesome graphic design department and in the fall of 2013 I began the one year MATD program at Reading University in England to further my knowledge in typography, type design, and graphic communication. For my thesis project at Reading I created a warm, friendly text-face entitled Odelay. Both of these educational experiences were incredibly inspirational and the professors and staff at each deserve a lot more credit than they are given. You dudes rock. In-between studying and working I designed many graphic & type design projects for some wonderful people. This site’s main purpose is to show these designs (whether in-progress or finished) and to act as a platform to record ideas, thoughts, or ramblings on varied topics.

If you like any of the work, need some freelance, or just want to say hey, please contact me through this page or pretty much any other mode of communication via the interwebs offered in cute lil’ red icons at the bottom of this page. Cheers!
