HOWDY! I am a designer from Texas enjoying life in Brooklyn, New York. I work as a type designer at Monotype and as an active board member of ATypI. From 2014–2021 I designed typefaces at Hoefler & Co. where I assisted in the design and production of Archer Heavyweights, Operator, Ringside, Inkwell, Sentinel Pro, and Decimal. Before that, I received a BA in Graphic Design at ACU and I attended the Master of Arts in Typeface Design program at Reading University. For my thesis I created a friendly text-face entitled Odelay. I occasionally update this site with graphic & type design projects and record ideas, thoughts, or ramblings on various topics.
